Jose arrives about 35 minutes before the show to set up his props and equipment. If possible, it's best to keep the kids in another room during setup — that way, the secrets behind the magic stay hidden until the big reveal!

No need to worry about saving a space! Jose doesn't require a reserved parking spot and is happy to park wherever is available nearby. He'll always make sure to arrive on time and ready to bring the fun.

Jose doesn't need a huge stage to work his magic! A cosy area about 5 feet across is usually enough. He prefers having a wall behind him — preferably without mirrors — with the kids sitting on the floor in a semi-circle. Living rooms, family rooms, or open spaces work perfectly.

Generally, the best time is after the food and games, but before the cake and presents. This ensures that even kids who arrive late or leave early still enjoy the full show without missing out!

They can. Background music, loud conversations, or noisy party blowers can make it harder for kids to focus. It helps if food isn't served during the show and other toys or distractions are put aside.

At the start of the show, Jose gives the kids a fun little talk about how to behave and enjoy the magic — and that works beautifully, 99% of the time. If a child does get disruptive, it's best for the host or a parent to gently step in, since it's not appropriate for the magician to discipline children.

Whenever possible, we recommend holding the party indoors. If it must be outdoors on a hot day, kids might tire quickly, so the performer may adjust the pace. On chilly days, warmth goes a long way! If rain is in the forecast, have a backup indoor plan.

Absolutely — we love when adults join in! For children under 4, feel free to sit with them on the floor. For older kids, we recommend letting the kids sit in a semi-circle while adults relax on the sofas. At least two adults should stay in the room as chaperones during the performance.

We're happy to do our best to honour your special requests — like taking photos or adding a personal touch to the show. Please let the entertainer know at the beginning of the performance so they can plan accordingly.

Yes — Jose's show features a real, live bunny that kids absolutely love! Seeing the bunny appear is always one of the highlights of the performance. If you have pets at home, especially dogs, please keep them out of the performance area during the show.

Once you've booked, the following cancellation terms apply:

• More than 15 days' notice: No penalty
• Less than 15 days' notice: HKD $300 cancellation fee
• Less than 5 days' notice: Only the deposit (HKD $1,000) is forfeited
• Christmas season (Nov 15 – Jan 5): Requires at least 30 days' notice, or full payment is due

Yes — a deposit is required to secure your date:

• For birthday parties: HKD $1,000 deposit
• For fairs, festivals, corporate events, or holiday shows: 50% deposit

Deposits are refundable if you cancel at least 15 days before your event date. For shows during the holiday season (Nov. 15 – Jan. 5), deposits are non-refundable.

Tipping is completely optional — there's absolutely no obligation. That said, if you feel the performance was exceptional and would like to show your appreciation with a tip, it's always gratefully received!
